Java Developer – German speaking

The Client Innovation Center (CIC), a new, innovative and exciting part of IBM, is looking for Java Developers. You will be part of a larger project creating a sophisticated solution for one of our clients in Bern. This role will require you to analyze and challenge our customers’ needs. You will work closely with other developer’s, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions, understand and communicate complex ideas.

Your impact:

• Drive the design, development, and support for application solutions to meet client requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years of experience in software design and software development with Java
  
• Excellent understanding of design patterns, test-driven development, source code management
  
• Work experiences with Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira, and SQL database
  
• Good knowledge in cloud development environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud)
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
  
• Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Sound knowledge in Scrum / Kanban, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
